SUPER MOMS

They are the two most wonderful moms I’ve ever known in my life. I have witnessed their struggles as a working mom and how they face life’s difficulty without complaining or even questioning God.

And I’m proud to say that I’m speaking of none other than my own mother & sister.

My mother is a retired teacher now. But I can still recall how she managed to raise us being the sole breadwinner of our family. I remember my childhood days when we were living a luxurious life until my father had a mild stroke when I was 11 years old and since then he was jobless until the time of his death.

I never heard any grumblings from my mother. But instead, she brought us up in the best way she could, with so much love & care. And by God’s grace, all three of us, my brother, sister and I, were able to graduate from college.

Up to now at her age my mother regularly cooks for us. She really loves to pamper us. She always sees to it that breakfast is ready before we wake up.

What a great mom.. And the same phrase goes also to my sister.

I used to call her wonder woman. Living in the same roof, I have witnessed how she had grown into a very responsible parent. Being a working mom with a very demanding work but still manages to take care of her family. The way she nurture her children and discipline them as well. She also loves to cook for her family and spoil them when it comes to food.

Like mother, like daughter..

And today I salute mom & sis.. Happy Mother's Day to both of you and to all the wonderful mothers out there.
