OVERWHELMING
Last Sunday's Church Service was one of the most overwhelming experience I've ever had in my whole Christian life. My churchmates warm welcome broke me into tears specially when they told me that they missed me so much. I was absent for 2 weeks and I wasn't able to attend our Summer Camp last Holy Week because I had to take care of my mother. I really thought that they wouldn't understand my situation. But seeing them smiling with warm hugs and kisses, took away whatever anguish I've had for the past few days.
But of course my Pastor explained that it should not happen again. Our service to God still should be our first priority regardless of any circumstances. Whatever comes our way, we should always seek for help to God and don't just lean on our own understanding. And that's exactly what happened to me. I thought I can do and plan for my own. I should have prayed more and exerted a lot of effort. "God will make a way" if we'll only let Him lead our way. I guess that's my biggest lesson this Holy Week Season.
Nevertheless, I count myself so blessed to have a spiritual family whom I can really depend on. And I thanked God for all of them.
