GETTING READY FOR CEBU

We're getting ready now for our trip to Cebu this evening. We're all excited here. We're going to leave our office at exactly 2pm 'coz we should be at the airport 2 hours before our departure which is 6pm. OMG.. at last.. after so many days of waiting. Finally, we'll be able to see the beautiful city of Cebu.

For me, Sunday's really the best time of the week. As I've always say that it's indeed a refreshing time for me. Where I can be recharged like a drained battery.

Talking to God thru prayers and singing praises to Him have always been my personal connection to the Lord 'coz this is where I get my much needed strength.

Am sharing to you now the lyrics of a song, Teach me Lord to wait.. One of my fave of course. I've learned this when I was still new with my faith. Our Song Leader included this in his list during our Praise & Worship last Sunday. Such a beautiful & inspiring song.

UNDECIDED

I'm having a hard time focusing in almost all the things that I've been doing for the past few days. Guess it's the result of sleepless nights, anxiety and my very preoccupied mind (exaggs) Well.. so many things have been bothering me and of course the restlessness that I've been experiencing lately. Not to mention some decisions that I have to make.

(Sigh..) I think I really need to unwind and my trip to Cebu with my office pals seems to be a great idea. Though I'm still having second thoughts of going there. I'm so excited, yes! 'coz it's my first time, but.. am still waiting for His sign (Lord willing)

Anyway I know that it will certainly refresh my mind if I'll push through with this short vacation. Maybe it will help me to have a focused mind once again.. Wish, Wish!

We're booked via Cebu Pacific as early as October last year and our trip is on the end of the month.

(Hhmm) seems great but am still undecided..

MY BESTFRIEND JEN

My bestfriend Jen sent me this picture that was taken in Maribyrnong City River in Melbourne, Australia. She knows that I missed her so much so she thought of sending this one. So glad that she always keep in touch despite of her busy sched. She constantly sends email & text messages to me and we always find time to chat even for a short period of time.

She has a funny yet touching story about her hubby's friend who's looking for a girlfriend. She asked me if I'm interested to meet the guy and hoping to like him also. She told me that it can be my way of migrating to OZ, if in case we end up with each other (Nah..) LOL.. that's all I could react.

But when she told me that she just wanted me to be there with her, I was really touched. That she'd do anything just so we could be together, how sweet of her.. really!

Thanks bes, I do appreciate your thoughtfulness and I want you to know that no one can replace you in my heart..

MISSING A LOT

Been busy all week again. Sometimes I feel that 24 hours is not enough for me. Well, I think I just have to learn to manage my time and of course prioritize the most priority or first things first.. Ooops! Am I making sense here? really don't know. I guess my mind's not working properly (LOL) Just finished some of my month end reports and a lot of recon at work. I feel worn out and exhausted. I want to do a lot of things specially when I'm in front of my PC but am really too tired. I just see to it to check my emails and do some EC dropping 'coz that's all I can afford to do right now.

Sorry for this sentiments guys. I guess I am just missing a lot of things here..

I miss chatting with my friends, I miss blog hopping, I miss surfing the net.. what else?

I actually miss writing.. I mean something with a great content 'coz I envy those bloggers who are capable of helping others thru their useful, informative and inspiring blogs. I admire them actually. Hope I can be able to do that again.. Forgive me my (ehhm) readers? LOL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEN!

My sis Race daughter Genesis Anne just turned 10 yesterday. We thank God for the healing of her sickness just in time before her birthday comes.

She had a simple celebration yesterday in our home. It was a fun filled day for her 'coz all of her cousins (bro's kids) were present.

TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED

My grade school classmate and friend Gina who's currently based in Canada sent a wonderful email to me. As I was still recovering from my sickness and a stressful week after the holiday season, her email somehow made me realize on a lot of things and I want to share it with you guys. Well, for some people like me who's been struggling & coping up ever since I got back to work, you know these things I'm sure.. the backlogs and the month end & year end reports. But no, am not complaining here.. It's part of my job, and as I always say that I love my work 'coz I believe that God is using my employer to provide for my financial needs and to enhance my knowledge as well.

I just realized that I'm really too blessed to be stressed. So I'll continue to focus on the positive things, be optimistic, look at the brighter side of life and see more of the blessings of the Lord.

Here's what my friend's email says on tips on how to enjoy the ride of life:

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk everyday and while you walk, smile.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
3. Live with the 3E's... Energy, Enthusiasm, Empathy and the 3F's... Faith, Family, Friends.
4. Spend more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of six.
5. Dream more while you are awake.

6. Realize that life is a school and you're here to learn, pass all your tests. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
7. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
8. Life isn't fair but it's still good.
9. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
10. Don't take yourself so seriously, no else does.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't mess up the present.
12. Don't compare your life with others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
13. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
14. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
15. Forgive everyone for everything.
16. What other people think of you is none of your business.
17. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
18. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
19. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will, stay in touch.
20. The best is yet to come.. believe.
21. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
22. Do the right thing.
23. Each night before you go to bed, complete the following statements; "I am thankful for.. ", Today I accomplished... "
24. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed
25. Enjoy the ride. Remember that this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass. Make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

CRISNA & LAWRENCE WEDDING

Crisna & Lawrence wedding last December 30, 2008 was one of the happiest moments in our family. We're happy that they have finally tied the knot but we're even happier to see our "long lost" cousin Adeth. She's one of the sponsors and we're really glad to see her again after so many years. We had lost communication with her and we missed her so much specially my mom, that's why she's teary eyed when they hugged.

BREAKFAST @ JOLLIBEE

Non-working holidays are so special to us in the family. We grab every chance to spend it together, like having breakfast in a nearby Jollibee branch. We also wanted to give our cooks (my mom & sis) to take a break and rest in preparing for our daily breakfast. So last year's declared December 29 Holiday was a special day for us. We went to Jollibee (like we usually do during holidays) and eat breakfast together.

A GRATEFUL HEART

Give thanks with a grateful heart.. This is actually my fave line every time I sing the song GIVE THANKS..

I want to end the year 2008 & welcome 2009 with a grateful heart to the Lord. I want to thank Him for all the wonderful things He has done to me and I'm sharing it all to you.
