ISLAND HOPPING @ PUKA BEACH

Just sharing you some photos of our wonderful moments during our island hopping @ Puka Beach, Boracay Island..

It took us approximately 30 minutes to get into the island. The place is so quiet and uncrowded, unlike the busy and crammed main beach of Boracay.

I spotted only a few people aside from us. It's as if we've rented the whole resort, gave us a feeling of real privacy.

BTW, according to my Google search, the place is called Puka Beach because it is made up of puka shells bleached white in the sun (hmmm.. makes sense) what do you think?

I just came from a short vacation in Boracay last weekend, and my trip won't be complete without buying some souvenirs & pasalubong for my friends & loved ones.

There were actually a lot of souvenir items like shirts, caps, key chains, and a lot more. I just wasn't able to take a shot of all of those 'coz I don't have enough time to roam around. Nevertheless, it was an enjoying trip even for just a short time.

WW - MAGELLAN'S CROSS

Magellan's Cross is a must see place if you happen to visit the beautiful City of Cebu. Located just in front of the City Hall and very near to Fort San Pedro & the famous Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño.

It is said to be planted upon the arrival of the Portuguese & Spanish explorers in Cebu on April 21, 1521 as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan.

The cross is housed in a chapel to protect it from people who snap off parts for souvenir purposes. Some people believe that the cross possesses miraculous powers.

I always thank God for His protection, for guiding my path, for being my light and for keeping me and my family safe from all the danger and the evil things of this world.

Today, I am thankful

* For the good health of our family, that all is well despite of the virus that's been starting to spread in our country
* For protecting me from a vehicular accident yesterday
* For keeping us safe despite of the heavy rains and we all came home from work & school out of harm

WW - BACK TO SCHOOL

Got a glimpse of my Elementary Grade School last Monday during the opening of classes. I was able to take a shot of the building and was glad that it has improved a lot. I've heard that my Alma Mater was one of the schools that were included in the expansion and renovation program of our Municipality. That's good news. At least, the kids have something to be excited about when they get back to school after their vacation.
