DECEMBER CAMP FELLOWSHIP 2009

At last I was able to post our December Camp Fellowship last year.

And I would like to share that it was a great blessing to our church. We had series of services for four days from December 24-27. We also had special activities such as communion & feet washing, youth service, bonfire and baptism. It was a indeed wonderful experience to all of us.

Of course, our fellowship would not be complete without picture taking.

CATS ELECTION PULSE

I was assigned to form a team for a survey or should I say a pulse for the coming election. During our meeting prior to this activity, we decided to call it "CATS Election Pulse. At first I was really hesitant to accept the responsibility. But when they told me that it was just for fun and that it was a request from a very important person. Well, there's really no point of turning it down.

It was conducted during our 20th Anniversary & Christmas Party. We came very early @ the venue to be able not to miss out any single employee. We're expecting at least 400 voters for both President & Vice President.

Fortunately, the pulse turned out well. All our employees were very cooperative and supportive.

Just in case you're interested whose names got the most number of votes for the Presidential & Vice Presidential race. Oh well, I'll let you guess with my clues. First clue, they are both leading in almost all the pulse nationwide. Second, they are both senators. And third, they are in the same political party.

Very easy right. I hope you got it!

I've always believe in the saying that "The truth will set you free" . And I'm the kind of person who will always say what I truly feel and express what's inside my heart.

I am a free verse, that's right. I remember doing poems when I was in my teenage years. I used to write what I feel, what I think and I what I believe in.

It's my self expression and my emotional outlet.

When I think of our camp meeting days last December, I can't help but sing this beautiful song.

Those were one of the most wonderful days of my life.

Perfect moments spent with people who are very close to my heart, my church family.

And I really felt like I was in heaven then.

No worries, no hassle, stress free.

Just like heaven.

THE GREAT PROVIDER

God never fails to provide for our needs specially when it's for His glory.

When our car was damaged by typhoon Ondoy last September, we're so worried that we might not use it again since it was really old and needs a lot of repairs. Though our mechanic assured us that it's still repairable. He is just too busy to attend to all his customers whose cars were also hit by the flood.

Fortunately, my brother bought a pre-owned Mazda pick-up (as shown in the photo below) months before our camp fellowship. It was intended for his construction business but he offered it to us when he learned about our situation.

It can carry at least 6 passengers including the driver. But we're actually eight, 5 adults & three kids. Our things were all packed at the back. God have made everything organized for our 4-day fellowship. For me, it was so perfect and I want to thank God for this great blessing.

Indeed God is our Jehovah Jireh, who always provides in times when we really don't know where to go and where to seek help. We just have to be sincere and He will surely grant the desires of our heart.

BACK TO WORK

Believe it or not, I'm so glad to get back to work today. I usually feel sluggish after the holiday season's vacation. But this time, I have this strange feeling of excitement. LOL, I really don't know what's happening to me. All I know is that I felt so inspired on my first day of work this year.

And it really was a great day for me. I was able to finish some of my tasks. Though I think that it will take more time to be able to accomplish everything since we're headed for a lot of year end reports.

However, I think that starting the year right with a very positive spirit will help me to be able to get all things done.

WITH A THANKFUL HEART

With a thankful heart.. This was how we wanted to welcome this brand new year during our first Sunday Worship this morning. Every members was smiling as we greeted each other with a "Happy New Year & God bless"

God has been so good to all of us. Despite all the trials that have come our way last year, we're still grateful because we were more than blessed and more favored by God.

And this is my own little way of giving all the gratitude to the Lord.

Another year has passed and we're even more thankful this year not only for the financial blessings but for the spiritual blessings as well.

We'd like to welcome this year with a grateful heart to the Almighty who has blessed us with good health, who have provided for our daily needs, who have guided our family and binded us, who have protected us from the bad elements of this world and who have made each one of us a stronger person and a better Christian.
